IT Support Officer

We are looking for a committed IT Support Specialist to join our team in Karachi on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining the smooth functioning of daily IT operations. This position demands hands-on troubleshooting skills, clear communication, and a proactive mindset to address and resolve technical challenges efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support through face-to-face interactions, phone calls, and email correspondence.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and software applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage user accounts and access rights using tools such as Active Directory and Office 365.
- Assist with network connectivity issues and monitor system performance to maintain reliability and uptime.
- Accurately document technical problems and follow up to guarantee timely resolution.

Required Qualifications:
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in IT support or a related technical role.
- Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, Office 365 applications, and fundamental networking concepts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills combined with effective problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft certifications, or ITIL are advantageous.
