Java Backend Intern

Join Truck It In as a Java Backend Intern for a two-month internship designed to accelerate your technical skills and professional growth. You will work closely with the Engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in building scalable systems that directly impact our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend components using Java.
- Collaborate with team members to build RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Assist in database design and management, primarily using MySQL.
- Write clean, testable, and scalable code following industry best practices.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, and documentation processes.
- Contribute to planning and executing data-driven initiatives that enhance product strategy.

Required Qualifications:
- Recently completed a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, Java 8, and MySQL databases.
- Basic familiarity with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and version control using Git.
- Passion for backend development and eagerness to build scalable systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own project and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, capable of clearly explaining ideas and code.
