Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Document Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and refining medical reports, scanned documents, and provider notes to ensure clarity, accuracy, and proper formatting. Your expertise in basic image editing tools will be essential to enhance document readability, while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations. This position requires collaboration with various internal departments to support efficient and accurate document processing.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and edit medical reports, scanned documents, and provider notes to improve clarity, accuracy, and formatting consistency.
- Utilize Photoshop and other basic editing software to clean, crop, resize, and enhance scanned images or documents, ensuring they are clear and easy to read.
- Ensure all documents comply with relevant standards such as HIPAA and other data protection regulations, safeguarding patient confidentiality and information security.
- Work closely with internal teams including transcription, billing, and quality assurance to facilitate accurate and timely document processing.
- Consistently meet daily productivity targets and uphold quality benchmarks to maintain high standards of work output.

Required Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in Photoshop or similar photo editing tools, with the ability to perform essential image cleanup and enhancement tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with a quality-driven approach to reviewing and editing documents.
- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize workload, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with PDF and image formatting techniques to ensure documents are properly prepared for further processing.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Previous experience or familiarity with medical documentation and healthcare workflows is preferred, as it will aid in understanding the context and requirements of the documents you will be handling.
