Procurement / Business Development Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to manage the end-to-end procurement process for high-end branded fashion products. This role demands a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and the ability to build lasting supplier relationships. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery aligned with sales forecasts and business objectives while optimizing costs and maintaining product quality. Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete procurement cycle for premium fashion brands, including sourcing, placing orders, tracking progress, and ensuring on-time delivery that aligns with business goals and sales forecasts. Serve as the primary liaison for suppliers and brands, nurturing strong relationships and acting as the key negotiator for contracts, pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Lead negotiations to secure cost savings without compromising quality or budget requirements.

Work closely with inventory management and sales teams to analyze sales trends and forecast demand, enabling accurate procurement planning and optimal inventory levels. Monitor supplier performance rigorously, focusing on delivery timeliness, product quality, and pricing consistency. Proactively identify risks or issues and coordinate corrective actions or alternative sourcing solutions to mitigate disruptions.

Continuously evaluate and onboard new suppliers who meet stringent quality and brand standards to diversify and strengthen the supplier base. Conduct comprehensive market research and trend analysis to inform procurement strategies, introduce trending products, and maintain a competitive product mix. Ensure product quality by collaborating with suppliers to resolve any product-related issues promptly and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Maintain meticulous procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and supplier performance metrics. Prepare detailed reports for management to highlight cost savings and support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications
Proven expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization within the fashion or retail industry. Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends, sales data, and supplier performance metrics, enabling data-driven procurement decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines efficiently.
