Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Product Development Specialist to support the end-to-end creation of innovative oral and personal care products. This role involves working on a diverse portfolio including toothpaste, mouthwash, soaps, shampoos, splashes, and skincare items. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving product innovation from concept through to market launch, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet brand standards, consumer needs, and market trends.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full product development lifecycle. This includes conducting thorough market research and competitor analysis to uncover emerging trends, identify market gaps, and gather valuable consumer insights. Based on these findings, they will develop compelling product concepts and detailed briefs that align with the brand’s positioning and innovation strategy.

Collaboration is critical in this role. You will work closely with R&D teams and third-party formulators to develop product formulations and substantiate product claims. Additionally, you will coordinate packaging development efforts with both internal teams and external vendors, ensuring that packaging solutions are functional, visually appealing, and cost-effective.

Working hand-in-hand with the Supply Chain team, you will assist in sourcing raw materials, active ingredients, and packaging components to support product development and production needs. The role also requires close cooperation with design, marketing, and sales departments to facilitate smooth progression of products from R&D stages to successful market launches.

Project management is a key aspect of this position. You will be responsible for tracking and managing timelines for new product development projects, ensuring all milestones are met and launch schedules are adhered to. Furthermore, you will provide ongoing support to cross-functional teams—including marketing, quality assurance, manufacturing, and sales—during product launches and initial production runs to ensure seamless execution.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must possess a solid understanding of cosmetic and personal care product development cycles. Strong project management and organizational skills are essential, with a keen eye for detail to manage multiple projects effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to foster productive collaboration with both internal teams and external partners.

A good grasp of sustainability trends in packaging and formulation is important, reflecting the growing consumer demand for environmentally responsible products. Passion for personal care innovation, along with a strong awareness of current market trends and consumer behavior, will enable the candidate to contribute meaningfully to product development strategies.

Familiarity with specialty formulations such as HALAL, vegan, or clean beauty products is highly desirable, as these are increasingly important in today’s personal care market.
