Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Academic Counselor to support students in their educational journey by providing personalized guidance and counseling. The ideal candidate will help students recognize their strengths, clarify their career goals, and develop tailored study plans that align with their aspirations. This role involves addressing both academic and personal challenges to promote student success, while maintaining accurate records and communicating progress to parents when appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one academic counseling to students, assisting them in identifying their individual strengths and career objectives.
- Collaborate with students to design customized study plans that reflect their goals and learning preferences.
- Offer support and practical solutions to help students overcome academic difficulties and personal obstacles that may impact their performance.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly, ensuring that records are up-to-date and comprehensive.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians by providing feedback on student development and any concerns that arise.

Required Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to listen actively and empathetically to understand student needs and challenges.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records and manage multiple student cases efficiently.
- Prior experience in counseling or a related field is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided.
