Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor and Animator to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, polished videos tailored for various platforms including social media, advertisements, explainers, YouTube, reels, and promotional content. This role demands a strong creative vision, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with scriptwriters, voiceover artists, and other team members to deliver compelling visual stories that align with brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw video footage into finished products that are visually appealing and aligned with project goals across multiple formats such as social media posts, advertisements, explainer videos, YouTube content, reels, and promotional materials.
- Design and produce custom 2D animations, including text animations, logo reveals, and motion graphics that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Work closely with the creative team, scriptwriters, and voiceover artists to ensure that the narrative and visual elements are cohesive and impactful.
- Integrate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to create a balanced and professional final audio mix.
- Adhere strictly to brand guidelines to maintain consistency in style, tone, and overall quality across all video content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality or creativity.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience as a video editor and animator with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of video styles and animation techniques.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition.
- Skilled in animating explainer videos, infographic-style visuals, and dynamic typography that effectively communicate complex information.
- Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling to create engaging and coherent video narratives.
- Creative mindset paired with meticulous attention to detail and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively and incorporate feedback.
- Ability to receive constructive criticism and iterate on work to achieve the best possible outcome.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Competencies
- Experience with additional editing and motion design platforms such as Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI-powered video editing tools is a plus, reflecting an openness to innovative technologies that can enhance workflow and creativity.
- Basic knowledge of 3D animation software like Blender or Cinema 4D is considered an added benefit, allowing for more versatile content creation.
