Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead and oversee all human resources functions within our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, driving employee engagement, and aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can enhance organizational capability, support talent development, and ensure compliance with labor laws while managing day-to-day HR operations including payroll and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics and analytics to identify trends and opportunities that enhance employee productivity and organizational performance.
- Design and execute employee engagement programs that foster a positive work environment and promote employee satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and maintain a robust succession planning process to identify and prepare high-potential employees for critical roles within the organization.
- Build organizational capability by aligning talent development initiatives with the company’s business strategy, supporting growth and operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with operations and sales teams to identify, nurture, and develop high-potential talent, ensuring a strong pipeline for future leadership roles.
- Manage the performance management process with transparency and structure, providing facilitation and support to employees and stakeholders to drive accountability and growth.
- Oversee the monthly payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of attendance, leaves, provident fund contributions, promotions, transfers, grievances, and maintenance of employee records.
- Lead employee relations efforts at the store level, addressing concerns proactively and ensuring full compliance with labor laws and all relevant legal requirements.
- Maintain strong communication channels across all levels of the organization to support HR initiatives and foster a collaborative work culture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading HR functions, including policy implementation, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Strong understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements relevant to the retail or similar industry sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze HR data and use insights to drive productivity improvements.
- Experience in succession planning and talent development aligned with business strategies.
- Proficiency in managing payroll processes and related administrative tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage employee relations effectively, resolving conflicts and fostering a positive workplace environment.
