Key Responsibilities
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for confirming customer orders via phone to guarantee accuracy and customer satisfaction. Promptly responding to customer inquiries and comments across multiple communication channels—including direct messages and WhatsApp—is a critical part of the role. You will also process orders received through these messaging platforms, ensuring seamless order management.
Another important aspect of the job involves liaising with courier companies to negotiate and secure competitive delivery rates, helping to optimize shipping costs. Managing product returns and efficiently handling customer complaints are also key duties, aimed at maintaining high service standards and fostering customer loyalty.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience in customer communication and order management within an e-commerce setting. A strong working knowledge of Shopify’s order fulfillment processes is essential to ensure smooth operations. Familiarity with courier companies and logistics related to e-commerce deliveries is required to effectively manage shipping and returns.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for professional and clear interaction with customers. The ability to multitask and manage multiple customer service channels simultaneously is also important to meet the demands of this fast-paced role.
