Ecommerce Operations Trainee

Job Summary
Iberianz Group of Companies, a leading conglomerate managing multiple successful enterprises including American brand franchises and IT computer parts distribution, is seeking an Ecommerce Operations Trainee. Based in Bahadurabad, Karachi, this full-time role operates from 3 PM to 12 AM. The trainee will play a crucial role in product research, sourcing, and market analysis to support our private label business across major e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and Walmart. This six-month training program offers a pathway to permanent employment within a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive product research using advanced tools such as Product Opportunity Explorer, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Keepa, and AMZScout.
- Analyze critical metrics including demand, competition, customer reviews, pricing trends, and profit margins to identify high-potential products.
- Source winning products suitable for Amazon FBA and other marketplaces like eBay and Walmart.
- Identify and communicate with suppliers through platforms such as Alibaba, 1688, and local vendors for quotes, price negotiation, and sample procurement.
- Maintain and update a detailed database tracking product research, supplier information, and sourcing progress.
- Prepare weekly reports summarizing product validation, cost analysis, and sourcing outcomes.
- Stay informed on market trends, seasonal opportunities, and category shifts by leveraging Google Trends and social media insights.
- Monitor competitor activities and track best-selling ASINs to inform strategic decisions.
- Collaborate closely with listing, PPC, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth and successful product launches.
- Provide research-based input to enhance product listings and marketing strategies.
- Develop clear and professional reports using MS Office, Google Workspace, and Canva.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled undergraduate from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- At least one year of experience in product research, sourcing, or market analysis within the e-commerce sector, particularly related to product launches.
- Proven track record of successfully launching products on e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in product research tools including Helium 10, Jungle Scout, AMZScout, Google Trends, and Keepa.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills for effective supplier interaction.
- Ability to create and present reports clearly using MS Office, Google Workspace, and Canva.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Relevant e-commerce internships or certifications are highly desirable.
