Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to join our expanding team based in Karachi. This full-time, night shift role offers a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic U.S.-focused retail operation while remaining locally based. The Inventory Officer will be instrumental in maintaining precise inventory records, monitoring stock levels across multiple retail outlets, and ensuring seamless coordination between logistics and sales teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and capable of managing sensitive data with integrity to support optimal inventory control.
Key Responsibilities
The Inventory Officer will be responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of inventory data across all retail locations. Maintaining accurate stock level tracking is essential to avoid shortages or excess inventory. The role requires prompt identification and investigation of any discrepancies or variances in inventory records. Close coordination with U.S.-based sales teams is necessary to manage stock movements and provide timely updates. The officer will also track inventory transfers, returns, and adjustments to ensure records remain accurate and up to date. Preparing and maintaining detailed inventory reports using Excel and Google Sheets will be a regular task. Additionally, the Inventory Officer will assist in fraud prevention by flagging unusual inventory patterns or inconsistencies in data.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have between 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory management or a related field. Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is essential for effective data tracking and reporting. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies efficiently. A high level of attention to detail is critical, along with the ability to handle sensitive U.S.-based data responsibly. The candidate must be proactive, well-organized, and capable of working independently during night shifts.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with retail inventory systems or a background in the telecom industry will be considered an advantage. While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, it is not mandatory. The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs80,000.
