Job Summary

We are looking for a committed Procurement Specialist to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, components, and packaging necessary for the manufacturing of fans and home appliances. This role requires close collaboration with suppliers and internal departments to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a solid procurement background, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to maintain optimal inventory levels that support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and procuring all raw materials, components, and packaging needed for fan and home appliance production. This includes negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with both local and national suppliers to secure cost-effective agreements. Coordination with warehouse and production teams is essential to maintain appropriate inventory levels and prevent production delays.

Regular monitoring of supplier performance is required to ensure that all materials meet the company’s quality standards. The role also involves processing purchase orders accurately, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Building and maintaining strong vendor relationships is critical to guarantee reliable and cost-efficient sourcing.

Additionally, the specialist will analyze market trends and procurement data to identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, maintaining proper documentation, and supporting audit requirements are also key aspects of the role. The Procurement Specialist will support new product development by sourcing new parts and assessing supplier capabilities to meet project specifications.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, which is preferred but not mandatory. A minimum of three years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management is essential. Proven negotiation skills with suppliers are a must, along with strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail in managing purchase orders and inventory.

The candidate should be capable of analyzing market trends and procurement data effectively. Familiarity with procurement policies and compliance standards is also required to ensure all processes align with company and regulatory guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Preference will be given to candidates who can reliably commute or are willing to relocate to Gujarat prior to starting employment. This is a full-time, in-person position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs60,000.
