Key Responsibilities
The Solar Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across both B2B and B2C segments within the solar energy sector. This includes developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with key stakeholders such as builders, industrial clients, housing societies, and government agencies.
Conducting comprehensive market research is essential to stay ahead of industry trends, understand customer needs, and uncover emerging opportunities. The role involves managing the entire sales cycle—from generating leads to closing deals—ensuring a seamless and effective process.
The manager will prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals tailored to potential clients, showcasing the benefits and value of ETC’s solar solutions. Collaboration with technical and marketing teams is critical to design customized solar energy solutions that meet client requirements.
Achieving and consistently exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets is a core expectation. Additionally, staying updated on government solar policies, subsidies, and competitor offerings will help maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in business development or sales is essential, preferably within the solar or broader renewable energy industry.
Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a talent for building and maintaining relationships are crucial for success in this role. The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment is also important.
While not mandatory, a basic technical understanding of solar panel systems will be advantageous. The role requires flexibility and willingness to travel as necessary to meet business objectives and engage with clients.
Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs45,000 to Rs65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
