Job Summary
Veevo Tech, a prominent technology firm specializing in cutting-edge software development, A2P SMS/WhatsApp (CPaaS), and IoT solutions, is looking to hire a Junior NOC Engineer. This role is pivotal in managing IT operations, monitoring network infrastructure, and ensuring the continuous availability and reliability of critical systems. The successful candidate will possess a solid foundation in networking, IT infrastructure, and data center management, combined with a hands-on, proactive approach to troubleshooting and support. Flexibility to work rotational shifts, including late or non-standard hours, is essential to maintain uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Network & IT Infrastructure Management: Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points to guarantee smooth and reliable network performance.
- Troubleshooting & Diagnostics: Quickly identify and resolve network, hardware, and system issues to minimize downtime and service disruption.
- System Availability & Capacity Management: Monitor IT platform performance continuously and optimize service availability to meet operational standards.
- 24/7 Engineering Support: Provide round-the-clock support for network incidents and outages, escalating critical problems when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitoring & Incident Response: Use NOC monitoring tools to track internal systems and digital services, responding proactively to alerts and potential issues.
- On-Site Support & Emergency Handling: Be available for in-person support during late or irregular hours to manage network or data center emergencies effectively.
- Server Management: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot both physical and virtual servers to ensure optimal functionality.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Conduct regular backups of network devices and servers to safeguard data integrity and ensure recovery readiness.
- Software & Hardware Installation: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware components as required.
- Data Center Power & HVAC Management: Oversee power supply systems, cooling (HVAC), and environmental conditions to maintain data center stability and prevent outages.

Required Qualifications
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Firewalls, VPNs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience using network troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, Ping, and Traceroute.
- Familiarity with server hardware and operating systems, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Understanding of data center infrastructure, particularly power and cooling systems.
- Willingness and ability to work rotational shifts, including late and non-office hours, to respond promptly to incidents.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset toward IT operations and support.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs35,000 to Rs50,000, based on experience, along with performance-based bonuses and KPI allowances.
