Job Summary
Technotech Solutions is seeking a highly organized and experienced Odoo Administrator to manage and oversee our Odoo ERP systems. This role emphasizes configuration, deployment, functional setup, module management, data integrity, security, and user support rather than software development. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth operation and optimization of Odoo modules across multiple departments, maintaining system performance and providing critical internal support. This full-time, on-site position operates on a night shift schedule from 6 PM to 3 AM, ideal for mid to senior-level professionals eager to contribute their expertise in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Odoo Administrator will be responsible for configuring and maintaining key Odoo modules such as CRM, Sales, Inventory, and Accounting. Managing users, roles, permissions, and access rights is essential to guarantee secure and appropriate system usage. The role requires continuous monitoring of system performance and the implementation of Odoo best practices to sustain operational efficiency.
Additionally, the administrator will handle the installation, upgrading, and configuration of third-party Odoo applications and community modules. Overseeing backups, data migration, and conducting functional testing to ensure data integrity are critical components of the position. Collaboration with department heads is necessary to optimize workflows and reporting capabilities within the Odoo environment.
The administrator will also troubleshoot user issues, serving as the primary internal contact for Odoo-related support. When advanced customizations are needed, coordination with developers will be required to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have proven experience as an Odoo functional administrator or ERP system manager. A strong understanding of Odoo versions 13 through 17+, including both Community and Enterprise editions, is essential. Hands-on experience with functional configuration, settings adjustments, and module installations is required.
Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environments and basic system-level tasks is important to support the underlying infrastructure. The ability to document processes clearly and train internal teams effectively is also necessary. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are critical to successfully managing user support and cross-department collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working in multi-company, multi-database Odoo environments is highly desirable. Basic knowledge of PostgreSQL and the Odoo database structure will be advantageous. Exposure to functional testing or quality assurance related to Odoo workflows is a plus.
