Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to spearhead the field execution of a government-backed land revenue digitization project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire digitization workflow—from on-ground data collection to the accurate documentation of land records on designated digital platforms. This role requires a hands-on leader who can ensure high productivity, coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and guarantee timely project delivery across several districts.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will lead data management and transformation activities across the Central Command and various field offices. You will manage field teams tasked with collecting land-related documents from local revenue offices within assigned districts, ensuring that scanning and data transformation meet stringent quality standards and daily output goals.

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with district revenue officials is crucial to facilitate smooth access to documents and to swiftly resolve any operational challenges that arise. The role involves continuous monitoring of progress through real-time reporting dashboards, field logs, and on-site check-ins to ensure adherence to timelines.

You will also oversee the secure uploading of scanned documents to a centralized system, ensuring proper indexing and data entry. Managing field logistics is a key aspect of this role, including staff scheduling and coordinating supplies across multiple locations. Close collaboration with the Project Director is essential for escalating issues, obtaining necessary approvals, and providing regular progress updates.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. You should have between 3 to 5 years of experience managing field teams in operations, logistics, or data collection projects, demonstrating proven leadership skills in managing dispersed teams effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role requires navigating local government dynamics and building productive relationships with various stakeholders. Proficiency in English is mandatory to ensure clear communication and reporting.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Experience working on government or large-scale digitization projects is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. This is a full-time position with a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs150,000 to Rs200,000.

The role requires in-person presence at designated field locations, emphasizing the need for a candidate who is comfortable working on-site and managing multiple teams across different districts.
