Job Summary
Workforce Commerce is looking for a motivated and skilled Full Stack Laravel Developer with strong expertise in both Laravel and React.js. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend systems alongside engaging frontend interfaces for various web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and QA specialists, to deliver high-quality features and ensure the applications run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services using Laravel, ensuring they are scalable and robust. On the frontend, you will build dynamic components with React.js that provide seamless user experiences. Collaboration is essential, as you will work hand-in-hand with designers and product teams to implement new features and enhancements. You will also integrate third-party APIs and services to extend application functionality.
Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices is a core part of your daily tasks. You will troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance and reliability. Additionally, you will actively participate in code reviews and team discussions to uphold high standards of code quality and foster a collaborative development environment.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have nearly three years of hands-on experience working with Laravel and React.js. Strong backend development skills using Laravel (PHP) are essential, along with solid practical knowledge of React.js for frontend development. Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs is required.
Proficiency with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL is necessary, as is familiarity with Git version control systems, including platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket. Your ability to manage source code effectively and collaborate through version control tools will be key to your success in this role.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Laravel APIs, particularly using Passport or Sanctum for authentication, is highly desirable. Knowledge of frontend libraries and frameworks such as Redux, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap will be advantageous and help you contribute more effectively to the frontend development process.
A basic understanding of Docker and CI/CD pipelines is preferred, as these tools support streamlined development and deployment workflows. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or DigitalOcean will also be beneficial, enabling you to work confidently with cloud-based infrastructure.
This is a full-time, office-based position requiring in-person attendance.
