Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Territory Sales Manager to lead and execute effective territorial marketing strategies. This role is pivotal in resolving customer concerns, evaluating sales performance, and uncovering new sales opportunities within the assigned territory. The primary focus is to achieve both volume and value targets while upholding core business objectives and ensuring sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for meeting territory-specific volume and value targets by ensuring product availability and maximizing return on investment for business partners. You will drive key distribution performance indicators such as outlet productivity, call productivity, and drop size to generate a significant impact in the field.

Managing capital-intensive distribution assets is a critical part of this role, including proper tracking and recovery from trade partners. You will estimate outlet potential for asset placement and conduct regular retail audits to maintain updated outlet data. Providing on-the-job training and guidance to the sales team is essential to boost their performance and effectiveness.

Monitoring and reporting on key business metrics such as daily sales, stock return rates, and outlet conversion rates will be part of your routine. You will handle multiple distribution channels, including trade and key accounts, while keeping a close eye on category product movements and competitor activities.

Leading the field area sales operations team, you will ensure the achievement of annual sales targets by delivering on distribution and route-to-market KPIs, all while maximizing business partner ROI. Compliance with environmental safety, food safety, and occupational health and safety standards is mandatory, adhering to ISO 9001, ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000, ISO 22000, DuPont, and International Food Standards as applicable at FrieslandCampina.

Additionally, you will play a key role in fostering employee engagement and contributing to a high Employee Engagement Index Score, helping to build a motivated and committed team.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration (BBA or MBA). A background of 2-4 years in sales and distribution, ideally within a reputable FMCG company, is required. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills are essential to succeed in this role.

You must demonstrate strong analytical abilities and the capacity to manage critical market and sales situations effectively. A sound understanding of retailer operations and the ability to assess business potential accurately is also necessary.
