Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying comprehensive evaluation frameworks for AI models throughout their lifecycle—covering pre-training, post-training, and inference phases. This includes defining and monitoring critical performance indicators such as accuracy, loss metrics, latency, throughput, and memory footprint across multiple deployment environments.

A key part of your role will involve curating high-quality evaluation datasets and designing standardized benchmarks. These benchmarks will measure model quality and robustness, ensuring consistent and reliable assessments that track improvements throughout the AI lifecycle.

Collaboration is essential. You will work closely with product management, engineering, data science, and operations teams to align evaluation metrics with broader business objectives. Presenting your findings through detailed dashboards and reports, you will provide actionable insights that support cross-functional decision-making.

You will analyze evaluation data systematically to identify bottlenecks and propose optimizations aimed at enhancing model scalability, performance, and resource efficiency—especially on hardware-constrained platforms. Conducting iterative experiments and empirical research will be central to refining evaluation methodologies. Staying abreast of emerging trends and techniques in AI evaluation will enable you to continuously improve benchmarking practices and ensure model reliability in dynamic, real-world environments.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a PhD in NLP, Machine Learning, or a similar discipline highly preferred. A strong record of AI research and development, including publications in top-tier conferences, is essential.

You should demonstrate expertise in designing and evaluating AI models across multiple stages—pre-training, post-training, and inference—with proven ability to develop frameworks that assess accuracy, convergence, loss improvements, and robustness.

Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with evaluation benchmarks and frameworks are required. You must be capable of building, automating, and scaling complex evaluation pipelines, with familiarity in performance metrics such as latency, throughput, and memory footprint.

Experience conducting iterative experiments and empirical research to refine evaluation methodologies is necessary. You should also be adept at staying current with the latest advancements in AI evaluation techniques.

A proven track record of effective collaboration with diverse teams to align evaluation strategies with organizational goals is important. You must be skilled at translating technical results into actionable insights and driving process improvements throughout the model development lifecycle.
