Job Summary
Ambassador Consultants, a premier international education consultancy headquartered in Lahore, is looking for a motivated and experienced Student Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time role centers on guiding students through the complexities of studying abroad, with a primary focus on the UK and other global destinations. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in the overseas education sector, demonstrating strong knowledge of university admissions and visa procedures. The position offers a competitive compensation package, combining a basic salary with commission incentives. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, with seasonal adjustments as needed. This role requires in-person attendance at our Main Boulevard Gulberg office in Lahore.

Key Responsibilities
As a Student Counselor, you will provide expert guidance to students exploring international education opportunities. Your primary duties include advising students on study abroad options, particularly UK institutions, covering course selection, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, entry exams, and visa processes. You will conduct counseling sessions both face-to-face and over the phone, managing walk-ins and scheduled appointments efficiently.

You will assess students’ academic qualifications against university criteria and support them throughout the application and admission stages. This includes ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time, as well as liaising with international university admissions offices for document verification.

Visa guidance is a critical component of this role. You will assist students with understanding offer letters, conditional and unconditional offers, CAS issuance, and preparing visa files, with a strong emphasis on UK student visas. Follow-up support throughout the visa application process is essential.

Maintaining proactive communication with prospective students is vital. You will manage lead generation and follow-up through phone calls, SMS, email, and social media platforms. Organizing outbound calling campaigns and scheduling counseling sessions will be part of your routine. Accurate record-keeping of all student interactions and progress within the CRM system is mandatory.

You will also represent Ambassador Consultants at international education fairs, university events, and webinars. Organizing and hosting online interviews, webinars, and student information sessions will help expand our outreach.

Collaboration with university representatives and coordination of delegate visits are key to strengthening partnerships. You will promote partner universities through exhibitions, school and university visits, and social media campaigns, contributing actively to enhancing the Ambassador Consultants brand.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the study abroad or overseas education sector.
- Strong understanding of UK and international university application and visa processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to meet targets and KPIs.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage student inquiries with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office, email communication, and basic CRM tools.
- Genuine passion for education and commitment to student success.
