Job Summary
A rapidly growing UK-based accountancy firm is looking to hire experienced Senior Accountants, Assistant Managers, and CA Inter professionals who have completed their articleship to join their expanding Business Services team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Rawalpindi, Bahria Town Phase 4. The position offers a competitive monthly salary between Rs70,000 and Rs80,000. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong analytical capabilities, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships effectively.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily bookkeeping tasks to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Preparing monthly management accounts is essential to support business decision-making processes. You will assist in the preparation of VAT returns and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities will also be a key part of your role, contributing to effective financial planning.
In addition, you will undertake technical accounting work in line with relevant accounting standards and regulations. Managing cloud-based accounting tasks using modern software solutions is expected, reflecting the firm’s commitment to leveraging technology. Handling supplier and debtor queries via email and phone will be part of your daily communications, requiring professionalism and promptness. Furthermore, you will be involved in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen and maintain internal controls within the organization.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must have completed their CA Inter along with articleship experience. Alternatively, applicants holding an ICMA qualification with at least two years of relevant work experience will also be considered. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential to handle complex data analysis and reporting tasks. Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are critical to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients. The role demands a self-motivated individual who can quickly grasp new concepts and take initiative without constant supervision. The ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders professionally and efficiently is also a must-have.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
