SEO Assistant

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated SEO Assistant to join our team full-time, working on-site. This role is ideal for someone passionate about SEO and digital marketing who wants to make a direct impact on our online visibility. You will work closely with content creators, developers, and marketing professionals to implement effective SEO strategies aimed at increasing organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for conducting thorough keyword research across blogs, product pages, and landing pages. This includes organizing keywords into topic clusters and monitoring trends to keep our content strategy relevant. Optimizing on-page elements such as meta tags, headers, internal linking, and schema markup will be essential to ensure adherence to SEO best practices and create user-friendly page structures.

Performing technical SEO audits will be a key part of your role. You will identify and resolve issues related to crawl errors, indexing, site speed, mobile optimization, sitemaps, canonical tags, and HTTPS protocols. Additionally, you will identify backlink opportunities and manage outreach campaigns to build a strong backlink profile, including disavowing harmful links to maintain site integrity.

Monitoring SEO performance is crucial. You will track keyword rankings, website traffic, and other key performance indicators using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console (GSC), and Ahrefs. Supporting content efforts by creating and optimizing SEO-friendly blog posts, identifying content gaps, and updating existing materials to improve rankings will also be part of your daily tasks.

You will be expected to meet monthly performance targets, including generating over 1,000 backlinks, sending 250+ outreach emails for guest posts and link building, conducting 50+ broken link outreaches, and producing 16 SEO-optimized blog posts.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with SEO tools such as GA4, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog. Strong analytical skills are essential, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions that drive SEO success. Excellent communication and writing skills are required to effectively collaborate with team members and create compelling content.

A detail-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for search engine optimization are critical for this role. You should also be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with at least one year of experience in a similar SEO role will be given priority. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a creative, data-driven team in a fast-paced digital marketing environment.
