Job Summary

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Accountant to oversee our daily financial operations. The successful candidate will manage accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and inventory management, ensuring precise financial reporting and strict compliance with regulations. This role demands strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work closely with management to optimize financial processes and support the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and inventory control. Timely preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements is essential to provide clear insights into the company’s financial health.

Performing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash flow are critical tasks to maintain financial stability. The role also involves ensuring compliance with relevant tax laws and assisting with both internal and external audits to uphold financial integrity.

Budget development, forecasting, and preparation of detailed financial reports for management review will be key duties. The Accountant will analyze financial data to detect trends, identify opportunities for cost savings, and recommend improvements.

Collaboration with management is vital to streamline accounting procedures and enhance overall operational efficiency, contributing to the company’s strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of professional accounting experience is required, preferably within the food or retail sectors.

A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations is essential. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, is mandatory.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail. The ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player is important.

Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks effectively and liaise with various stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

A Master’s degree or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage.

We offer a competitive salary package ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs80,000 per month, reflecting experience and qualifications.
