We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize our warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS). Regular stock counts and audits must be conducted to minimize discrepancies and maintain data integrity. Organizing and optimizing storage areas is essential to ensure easy accessibility while upholding safety standards.
This role involves supervising the receiving, unloading, and proper storage of goods, ensuring all processes align with company policies. Leading and training warehouse staff to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) is critical, along with delegating tasks effectively and monitoring team performance to maximize productivity and accuracy.
The Warehouse Manager will ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment. Coordination with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments is necessary to streamline warehouse operations and facilitate smooth logistics.
Planning and scheduling deliveries to meet customer timelines is a key duty, alongside inspecting incoming and outgoing goods for quality and specification adherence. Maintaining warehouse safety protocols, including the proper handling of tools and hazardous materials, is mandatory.
Additionally, the role requires preparing and analyzing reports related to inventory levels, productivity, and operational costs. Identifying inefficiencies and recommending actionable improvements will contribute to operational excellence. Collaboration with management to forecast demand and develop strategic plans is also expected.
Compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, as well as HACCP, ISO 22000/9001/14000, and 45001 guidelines within the scope of responsibility, is essential.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Commerce (B.Com) or Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Supply Chain Management. A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in warehouse management is required, ideally within hardware or engineering-related sectors.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Proficiency in warehouse management software, ERP systems, MS Office inventory tracking, and the Microsoft Office Suite is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively are essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a problem-solving mindset, and keen attention to detail.
Good negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders will be advantageous.
The company offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 60,000. Additional benefits include mentorship from seasoned professionals, company-provided accommodation, and three meals per day. This is a full-time, residential position located at Super Highway, Gadap Town, Karachi, requiring in-person attendance.
