Assistant Tech Supervisor

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Technician to join our team at a leading entertainment venue, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of amusement equipment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring all machines and attractions operate safely and efficiently, delivering an exceptional experience for our guests. This hands-on position demands technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to train staff on proper machine usage while prioritizing safety for both customers and employees. This is a full-time, on-site role at a popular amusement location.

Key Responsibilities
The Technician will be responsible for installing new amusement equipment, including adapting machines to accept swipe cards or tokens as required. Before any equipment is used by customers, the Technician must verify that all attractions meet stringent safety standards. Regular maintenance is essential to keep machines operating at peak performance, which involves continuous testing and servicing.

Monitoring machine performance is a key part of the role. The Technician will make necessary adjustments to machine positioning and settings to maximize revenue potential. Additionally, they will train operations staff on the correct and safe use of all equipment, fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence.

Inventory management is also critical; the Technician will oversee spare parts stock levels to ensure timely availability for maintenance needs. Proactive troubleshooting and maintenance will help minimize downtime and keep attractions running smoothly. The role may also include other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have technical experience servicing electronic or electrical equipment, ideally supported by a Diploma of Associate Engineering (D.A.E) in Electronics or Electrical fields. The ability to read and interpret safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, as well as electrical and mechanical schematics, is essential.

Strong communication skills in both English and Urdu are required, along with supervisory capabilities to effectively train and guide staff. A customer-focused mindset combined with innovative problem-solving skills will be vital for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working specifically with amusement equipment, rides, or LED servicing is highly desirable and will be considered an advantage. Familiarity with PCB boards is also preferred, as it enhances the ability to diagnose and repair complex electronic components.

Possession of a First Aid certification is a plus, contributing to overall workplace safety preparedness.
