Job Summary
We are looking for a committed Finance Associate to join our finance team and support our financial operations. This role involves assisting with accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and contributing to audits and compliance activities. It is an excellent opportunity for individuals currently pursuing their CA certification to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Finance Associate will work closely with the team to ensure accuracy in financial records and support a variety of accounting functions essential to the organization’s success.
Key Responsibilities
The Finance Associate will assist in preparing financial statements and management reports, ensuring that all documentation is accurate and timely. Daily accounting functions such as managing accounts payable and receivable will be a core part of the role. The candidate will also be responsible for reconciling bank statements and maintaining the integrity of financial data. Participation in month-end and year-end closing activities is required to support smooth financial operations.
Additionally, the role involves assisting with tax preparation and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Maintaining well-organized financial records to facilitate audits and meet regulatory requirements is essential. The Finance Associate will also contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, helping the team plan effectively for future financial needs. Collaboration with the finance team to identify opportunities for process improvements and staying updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes are important aspects of this position.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must be currently pursuing their CA Intermediate qualification. A foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices is necessary to perform the job effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks are required to manage financial data efficiently.
Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail are essential to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are also important. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously and meeting deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications and Additional Information
A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. This is a full-time position with working hours from 10 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday. Candidates should be able to commute easily to the job location at NASTP, Cantt Lahore.
Applicants must be enrolled as CA interns to be eligible for this role.
