Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Press Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating press machinery to produce parts that consistently meet established quality standards. This role demands strict adherence to production schedules, quality control measures, and safety protocols. The operator will work closely with supervisors and line in-charges to meet daily production targets, minimize defects, and reduce machine downtime. This position requires on-site presence and a strong commitment to teamwork and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Production:
The operator is expected to arrive promptly at 8:51 AM and adhere to scheduled breaks, including a lunch break at 9:55 AM, returning to work at 1:54 PM, with the workday concluding at 5:25 PM. Following instructions from the supervisor is essential. Before starting production, the operator must perform thorough pre-operation checks on the press machine using a detailed checklist to ensure readiness. The first five parts produced should be carefully inspected to verify they meet quality standards before continuing with the production run. All parts must consistently meet quality requirements before being passed on to the next stage of the process. Meeting production targets without sacrificing quality is a key focus. Additionally, the operator is responsible for maintaining an organized workspace by properly storing tools and equipment and cleaning the press machine and surrounding area after completing tasks.

Quality:
A comprehensive understanding of all relevant quality standards for the parts produced is required. The operator must follow guidance from the line in-charge regarding quality expectations and consistently produce and inspect parts to ensure compliance with these standards. Maintaining high-quality output is critical to the success of the role.

Safety:
Wearing all required safety equipment as directed by the line in-charge is mandatory. The operator must take all necessary precautions to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for themselves and their colleagues.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI):
- Consistently achieve or exceed daily production targets.
- Minimize the rate of part rejection by ensuring quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean, orderly workspace and ensure the press machine is kept in good condition.
- Reduce press machine breakdowns through proper operation and routine maintenance.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience operating press machines or similar manufacturing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to adhere strictly to quality standards.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members.
