Account Executive (Construction Background)

Job Summary
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Account Executive to oversee the financial and accounting operations related to our construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, maintaining compliance with industry regulations, and supporting budgeting and reporting activities. This position demands hands-on experience in construction accounting and the ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
The Account Executive will be responsible for closely monitoring project expenses and financial transactions to guarantee strict adherence to established budgets. Timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments is essential to maintain smooth financial operations. You will track and reconcile all project-related expenses, including costs associated with materials, labor, and equipment, ensuring accuracy and transparency.

Preparing monthly financial statements and detailed reports for the Manager of Accounts will be a key function, providing critical insights into project financial health. Managing payroll for construction site personnel with precision and efficiency is also required. Additionally, you will monitor cash flow and oversee project funds to sustain financial stability throughout the project lifecycle.

Compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to the construction industry is mandatory. Maintaining well-organized and accurate financial records will support audits and project reviews, ensuring accountability and transparency at all times.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related discipline. A strong foundation in construction accounting principles and practices is essential. Proficiency with accounting software, coupled with advanced Microsoft Excel skills, is required to handle complex financial data effectively.

The role demands strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to navigate financial challenges and discrepancies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with project teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced construction environment and must have at least two years of relevant experience in construction accounting or a closely related field.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Prior experience specifically within construction accounting will be highly advantageous. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Lahore, Noor Jahan Road, Gulberg III. The monthly salary range for this role is Rs45,000 to Rs60,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience and expertise.

Physical presence at the job location is required, as remote work is not an option for this position. Candidates with a background in construction will be given preference, recognizing the value of industry-specific knowledge in managing project finances effectively.
