Associate UI/UX Designer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:
You will be responsible for crafting user interfaces and experiences across multiple digital platforms. Your designs should align with established design principles, project requirements, and the strategic goals of the business while addressing user needs effectively.

User Research & Testing:
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather actionable insights. Use these findings to inform and refine design decisions, ensuring a user-centered approach throughout the project.

Collaboration & Workflow Optimization:
Collaborate closely with senior designers, developers, and project managers to enhance design delivery processes. This includes participating in operational activities such as task prioritization, resource allocation, and maintaining high design standards at every stage of the project.

Asset Management & Documentation:
Assist in organizing and managing design assets and documentation using tools like Figma or Zeplin. Ensure seamless handoffs to development teams, maintain version control, and keep design files updated across projects.

Prototyping & Feedback:
Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Gather and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams and stakeholders to iterate and improve design solutions effectively.

Design Trends & Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies. Proactively suggest innovative ideas to improve operational workflows and enhance overall team productivity.

Required Qualifications

- At least 2 years of experience in UI/UX design, including internships or project-based work, with some exposure to design operations.
- A strong portfolio showcasing a solid understanding of UI/UX principles and examples of contributions to process improvements or operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms. Basic familiarity with operational tools like Zeplin, JIRA, or Asana is preferred.
- Knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, responsive design, and version control within a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and operational ideas.
- A proactive, adaptable attitude, willing to engage in both creative design and operational tasks as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Islamabad. Candidates must be able to commute reliably or plan to relocate prior to joining.
