Senior Creative Designer

Job Summary
Ziyan Textiles is seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Design Leader to spearhead our denim, activewear, and home-textile collections. This pivotal role demands a creative professional who can craft compelling fashion narratives inspired by global trends while ensuring impeccable execution and a strong commitment to sustainability. The ideal candidate will blend artistic creativity with technical proficiency to produce innovative, market-relevant designs that appeal across diverse regions including Europe, North America, and the GCC.

Key Responsibilities

Concept-to-Collection Leadership:
You will drive the seasonal design vision by developing mood boards, hand sketches, and digital mock-ups using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Additionally, you will create 3D visualizations through CLO3D or Browzwear to bring concepts to life. Managing the sampling process is crucial—this includes refining prototypes, conducting fit reviews, and ensuring every design aligns with Ziyan’s high-quality standards.

Technical Package Excellence:
Prepare detailed, production-ready technical packages encompassing color standards, measurement charts, bills of materials (BOMs), stitch details, and compliance documentation. Maintain comprehensive iteration logs to track technical adjustments, collaborating closely with the pattern room and production teams to guarantee flawless execution.

Trend Intelligence & Market Adaptation:
Stay abreast of global fashion trends by leveraging resources such as WGSN, Pantone, runway analyses, and fabric fairs. Translate these insights into region-specific designs tailored for our key markets. Regular attendance at fabric expos, trade shows, and design festivals is expected to source innovative materials, finishes, and techniques.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work in close partnership with sourcing, R&D, merchandising, and production teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality collections. Present cohesive design narratives and provide technical clarifications during internal reviews, trade fairs, and client presentations, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders.

Sustainability & Innovation Advocate:
Champion the use of eco-conscious materials and implement low-waste spreading strategies. Embed sustainable practices throughout the design lifecycle—from sourcing to production—reinforcing Ziyan Textiles’ dedication to environmental responsibility.

Required Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Textile Design. Candidates with education from institutes such as PIFD or LSFD will be given preference.

Experience:
3 to 5 years of professional experience in design roles within apparel or textile export houses or composite mills. Experience with reputed organizations like Gul Ahmed, Nishat, or Interloop is highly valued.

Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD software, and 3D design tools such as CLO3D or Browzwear is essential. Strong hand-sketching skills are also required.

Garment Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of print, embroidery, dyeing processes, and garment construction techniques is critical to success in this role.

Soft Skills:
The ideal candidate will be an agile, creative problem solver who thrives under tight production deadlines. Excellent communication skills and a commanding leadership presence in cross-functional teams are necessary. A strategic mindset that balances creativity with business goals and sustainability commitments is essential.

Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Rs130,000 to Rs160,000 per month
