Job Summary
Khas Socks & Knitwear, a prominent and innovative socks manufacturing company based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Audit Executive to join our finance team. Known for our commitment to quality, operational efficiency, and financial integrity, we require a professional who will play a crucial role in strengthening our internal control environment. This position focuses on ensuring compliance and enhancing operational effectiveness across our knitwear manufacturing processes. Ideal candidates will have a solid foundation in auditing principles, strong analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail, particularly within a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities
The Audit Executive will assist in planning and executing internal audit engagements across all major departments, including knitting, dyeing, finishing, packing, sales, procurement, finance, and human resources. The primary focus will be on our socks and knitwear manufacturing operations. You will conduct comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance audits to identify risks, evaluate the effectiveness of controls, and uncover opportunities for process improvements.

Your role will involve performing detailed substantive testing and analytical reviews of financial data, production records, inventory movements, and internal control systems. Accurate and well-organized audit working papers must be prepared, documenting findings, supporting evidence, and actionable recommendations clearly and concisely.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with departmental heads and process owners to discuss audit observations, gather necessary information, and suggest practical solutions. Monitoring and following up on the implementation of audit recommendations will ensure that corrective actions are both timely and effective.

Additionally, you will assist in preparing comprehensive audit reports for management that highlight critical findings, associated risks, and strategic recommendations. Adherence to established internal audit methodologies, professional auditing standards, and company policies is essential.

You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit processes, tools, and methodologies. Staying updated with relevant accounting standards such as IFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the textile and manufacturing sectors in Pakistan is crucial. Support during external audit processes will also be part of your responsibilities.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. A minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in internal or external audit is required, preferably within the manufacturing industry. A strong understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management principles, and corporate governance practices is essential to succeed in this role.

Job Type and Location
This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Karachi facility.
