Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and experienced professional to manage comprehensive administrative and labor-related functions within our manufacturing facilities located in Lahore and Sheikhupura. Reporting to the Manager Admin, this role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operational workflows, including attendance verification, payroll coordination, employee welfare, and strict adherence to government regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in office and labor management, possess in-depth knowledge of labor laws, and demonstrate the ability to effectively liaise with various government bodies.

Key Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for verifying daily attendance, overtime, and workforce strength reports to maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Supporting the Manager Admin in daily administrative tasks, the role also involves supervising all activities related to the Labour Office and Time Office. A key duty includes verifying employees’ CNICs through NADRA and maintaining a comprehensive register of these verifications.

Coordination with the IT department at the head office is essential for managing the new payroll system, Cranium, ensuring smooth payroll processing. The role requires active liaison with government institutions such as PESSI, EOBI, Labour Department, LESCO, Sui Gas, and WASA to address workers’ welfare and organizational compliance matters.

The incumbent will oversee all compensation processes, including salaries, wages, overtime payments, and full and final settlements. Facilitating employee benefits by preparing social security and EOBI cards to maximize advantages from these departments is also a critical responsibility.

Supervision extends to the sanitation department of the mills, as well as plantation and fruit farm operations. The candidate will monitor the quality and quantity of food supplies across malls, hotels, and canteens. Managing workers’ affairs and addressing colony-related issues fall under this role’s purview.

In the absence of the Manager Admin, the candidate will take charge of sub-departments such as excise, cotton handling, and IN-OUT operations, along with handling all administrative duties of the mills. Additional responsibilities include managing the dispatch of waste materials and monitoring the dispatch of mill scrap.

Maintaining regular correspondence with the head office and other relevant institutions is essential. The role also requires preparing daily attendance reconciliation reports to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree (B.A) and possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in office management, labor management, and payroll administration. A thorough understanding of labor laws and prior experience dealing with government institutions is mandatory. Proficiency in handling payroll systems, particularly related to PESSI and EOBI processes, is required.
