Job Summary
We are looking for a diligent and customer-oriented Cashier to efficiently manage daily transactions and deliver exceptional service at the checkout. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling cash and credit payments, ensuring accurate pricing, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to promptly resolve customer concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and efficiently manage customer transactions using cash registers.
- Scan items and verify pricing to ensure accuracy.
- Collect payments securely, whether in cash or by credit card.
- Redeem stamps and coupons as applicable during transactions.
- Promote additional products by cross-selling and introducing new items to customers.
- Address and resolve internal complaints by providing guidance and relevant information.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area at all times to ensure a pleasant customer experience.
- Track and record all transactions on balance sheets, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges in line with company policies.

Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Studies (BS), or Computer Science (BSCS) is mandatory.
- Male candidates with 1-2 years of relevant cash handling experience are preferred.
- Experience in the banking or distribution sectors is considered advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential for daily reporting and record-keeping.
- Strong time management and communication skills are necessary to perform effectively in this role.
