Job Summary
Red Star Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Project Manager & Business Analyst to join their Islamabad-based team (G-13/4). This full-time, on-site role combines project management with business analysis to ensure the successful delivery of software projects that meet client expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background in Software Engineering or Computer Science and a solid grasp of both technological and business processes. This position demands strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing multiple software development projects concurrently. This involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA specialists, designers, and clients, to ensure smooth project flow. Defining project scope, timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables will be critical to your role. You will monitor project progress closely, managing risks, issues, and changes proactively. Regular Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives will be conducted under your guidance. Maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation is essential to keep all stakeholders aligned.

Business Analysis:
In this capacity, you will gather, document, and analyze client requirements, translating them into clear and actionable functional specifications. Close collaboration with clients and stakeholders is necessary to fully understand their business goals and challenges. You will prepare user stories, wireframes, flowcharts, and acceptance criteria to guide the development team effectively. Acting as a liaison between clients and technical teams, you will ensure clear communication and mutual understanding of requirements. Additionally, you will conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collecting feedback to drive iterative improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is mandatory.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in project management, business analysis, or a similar role within a software house or IT environment.
- Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a proven ability to handle clients effectively.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, ClickUp, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to create detailed requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
