Job Summary

We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Shopify and WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in crafting outstanding eCommerce experiences and websites that drive success across a variety of projects. Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for developing and customizing responsive Shopify themes and WordPress websites from scratch. This includes building user-friendly, high-converting Shopify stores and WordPress sites tailored specifically to client requirements. Optimizing these platforms for performance, speed, and SEO will be essential to enhance user experience and improve search engine rankings.

Additionally, you will integrate third-party APIs and applications on both Shopify and WordPress platforms to extend site functionality. Prompt troubleshooting and resolution of technical issues will be critical to maintaining site stability and performance. Collaboration is key, so you will work closely with designers, marketers, and fellow developers to ensure smooth project delivery. Maintaining and continuously improving existing Shopify and WordPress websites to meet evolving business needs will also be part of your role.

Required Qualifications
Candidates should have proven experience as a Shopify/WordPress Developer, ideally with at least two years of relevant work experience. Strong proficiency in Liquid (Shopify), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP (WordPress) is essential. Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, third-party app integrations, and WordPress plugins is required.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git is necessary for efficient code management. You must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. A solid understanding of eCommerce UX/UI principles, conversion optimization, and SEO best practices for both platforms is expected. Excellent problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities are also critical.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with Shopify Plus and WordPress multisite environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with design and prototyping tools like Figma or Adobe XD will be an advantage. Knowledge of advanced SEO techniques and website performance optimization is a plus. Experience with WooCommerce and its integrations will further strengthen your candidacy.

Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, including documentation, are important. Understanding the WordPress REST API is also beneficial.

Additional Information
This is a full-time, in-person role based at our Lahore office located at 58 Building R-1 Block, Main Boulevard Road, Johar Town, Lahore. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Experience
Minimum 2 years in Shopify/Liquid development and minimum 3 years in WordPress/PHP development are preferred.
