Manager Quality Assurance

Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at the Korangi Industrial Area in Karachi. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance protocols that meet both company standards and industry regulations. This position requires a proactive individual who can closely monitor production processes, analyze quality metrics, and work collaboratively with various departments to drive continuous improvement and ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for establishing and upholding quality assurance procedures that align with company policies and industry standards. This includes conducting regular inspections and audits of production lines to verify adherence to quality benchmarks. Monitoring and analyzing quality performance data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement will be a critical part of the role.

Collaboration is essential, as the manager will work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions. Detailed documentation is also required, including the preparation and maintenance of reports, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and records of non-conformance.

Training staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and continuous improvement initiatives is another key responsibility. The manager will also assist in investigating customer complaints to ensure timely and effective resolution. Participation in both internal and external quality audits, as well as support during regulatory inspections, will be expected.

Ensuring compliance with ISO standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and other relevant regulatory frameworks is a fundamental aspect of the role. Additionally, the manager will stay informed about market trends and best practices, recommending enhancements to the quality management system to maintain competitive and regulatory excellence.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Quality Management, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Technology, particularly with a focus on manufacturing environments. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role is essential.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), audits, Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA), and root cause analysis are required. The candidate should possess an in-depth understanding of quality standards including ISO 9001, GMP, and HACCP to effectively manage compliance and quality assurance activities.
