Qualified Tutor for Secondary Grades till Grade 12

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and knowledgeable Home Tutors to provide exceptional academic support to students from secondary grades through grade 12. This role requires working across multiple subjects to help students strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for nurturing student success. This position involves direct, in-person tutoring and requires flexibility to accommodate students’ schedules.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver personalized instruction either one-on-one or in small groups across a range of subjects including Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and other electives as needed. Tutors will tailor lesson plans to suit each student’s unique learning style, academic goals, and curriculum standards. Preparing students for school examinations, standardized tests, and other assessments is a critical part of the role.

Monitoring student progress closely and providing regular feedback to parents or guardians is essential to ensure transparency and continuous improvement. Tutors will also assist students with homework, revision techniques, and effective study strategies to enhance their learning experience. Creating a supportive, engaging, and motivating environment is key to fostering academic confidence and success. Maintaining strict confidentiality of all student information is mandatory.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as Education, Science, Mathematics, English, or related disciplines. Proven experience in tutoring or teaching secondary school students is essential. A strong understanding of national and/or international curricula—including A-Level, O-Level, IGCSE, IB, or State Boards—is required to effectively support diverse academic needs.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to engage and motivate students from varied backgrounds and abilities. Flexibility to work according to students’ schedules, including evenings and weekends, is also required to meet their academic demands.

Job Type and Compensation
This is a full-time, in-person tutoring position with a monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000. The role demands direct interaction with students, providing a hands-on approach to academic support.
