Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of SaaS-based software projects. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies, paired with strong communication skills and a proactive mindset. This role involves supporting project documentation, managing timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. Collaboration with developers, designers, QA, and stakeholders is essential to keep projects on track and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Project Manager in planning and coordinating SaaS product development initiatives, ensuring all activities align with project goals and deadlines. You will monitor project timelines and deliverables closely to maintain schedule adherence. Maintaining comprehensive project documentation is critical, including recording meeting minutes, updating timelines, and tracking tasks to provide clear visibility into project status.
Coordination across teams is a core part of this role. You will facilitate communication and collaboration among developers, designers, QA teams, and stakeholders, scheduling and leading team meetings such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives. Tracking and reporting on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager will help identify challenges early and support timely resolution.
You will also support the use and maintenance of project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana, ensuring all teams are aligned and informed. Assisting in gathering and accurately documenting client requirements will help ensure the delivered product meets expectations. Effective communication between internal teams and clients is essential to maintain transparency and foster strong working relationships.
Additionally, you will participate in coordinating testing activities and collecting user feedback to drive continuous improvement of the SaaS products.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. We welcome applicants with 1 to 2 years of experience in a software house or technology environment; relevant internships will also be considered.
A basic understanding of SaaS product lifecycles and agile methodologies is necessary. Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or Notion is expected. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential to juggle multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to coordinate teams and liaise with clients. The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while multitasking is important. Knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment. Experience or familiarity with SaaS-based CRM, ERP, or HRM products is also beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience with basic wireframing or prototyping tools such as Figma or Balsamiq is a plus, enhancing your ability to support design and product teams.
