Lead I - Business Analysis

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 5 to 7 years of expertise to join our Hyderabad team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in analyzing client business needs, recommending practical solutions, and executing business analysis tasks independently. This position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to define project objectives, design and validate requirements, and ensure seamless alignment between business goals and technical solutions. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior analysts, supporting new business identification, and driving process improvements within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret business needs to recommend effective solutions, working closely with the lead Business Analyst.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather clear, actionable requirements and establish project objectives.
- Plan and implement business analysis strategies for complex projects, ensuring thorough requirement definition and validation.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive software requirements documentation, including functional and non-functional aspects such as quality attributes and constraints.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to build consensus and communicate complex information in an understandable manner.
- Establish and manage change control processes to handle evolving requirements efficiently.
- Conduct impact assessments for requirement and design changes, ensuring they align with overarching business goals.
- Support testing activities to verify that solutions meet business expectations and requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, fostering their professional growth.
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities and contribute to organizational growth initiatives.
- Employ a variety of business analysis tools and techniques to elicit, document, and manage requirements effectively.
- Ensure adherence to established business analysis methodologies and processes.
- Lead communication and negotiation efforts with stakeholders regarding requirements and solution options.

Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
- Experience eliciting, documenting, and analyzing requirements within regulated, large multinational environments, preferably in financial services or critical infrastructure sectors.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies in project settings.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Kanban boards, and data analysis platforms including Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven stakeholder management capabilities.
- Skilled in writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and supporting product owners in roadmap planning.
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and related methodologies.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, data protection regulations, and security frameworks such as NIST.
- Experience with process modeling and documentation tools.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Certifications in Agile, SAFe, or Scrum (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Agilist) are highly desirable.
- Exposure to change management activities including training, communication, readiness assessments, and pilot implementations.
- Prior experience in cybersecurity domains is a significant advantage.

- Candidates available to join within 15 to 30 days are preferred; those on notice periods of 30 to 45 days will also be considered.
