Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven professional to lead brand onboarding and vendor management within the fashion apparel category. This role focuses on identifying and partnering with new and emerging brands that align with evolving customer trends and the platform’s strategic objectives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving category growth through strategic planning, market insights, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Ensuring a seamless customer experience and fostering strong vendor relationships are key priorities in this position.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Onboarding & Vendor Management:
You will be responsible for scouting and onboarding new and emerging fashion apparel brands that resonate with customer preferences and align with our platform strategy. This includes negotiating commercial terms and partnership agreements to build mutually beneficial relationships with brands and suppliers. Maintaining strong, long-term vendor partnerships is essential to support continuous collaboration and growth. Additionally, you will oversee the timely setup and integration of brand catalogs, pricing, and promotional details to ensure accuracy and readiness for launch.
Category Strategy & Growth:
Developing and executing a comprehensive category plan is critical to drive sales, improve profit margins, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. You will analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new growth opportunities. Curating and optimizing the product assortment to maintain a relevant and appealing mix for the target audience will also be a key focus.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
This role requires close collaboration with marketing, operations, and technology teams to ensure smooth product launches and effective promotional campaigns. You will work alongside supply chain and inventory teams to guarantee stock availability and timely delivery. Partnering with content and merchandising teams to create accurate and engaging product listings that elevate the customer experience is also part of your responsibilities.
Performance Management:
Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators such as Gross Merchandise Value (GMV), conversion rates, returns, margins, and vendor performance will be essential. You will leverage data-driven insights to make informed decisions and continuously optimize category performance. Preparing and presenting periodic reports and forecasts to senior management for strategic review will also be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in brand onboarding, vendor management, or category management within the fashion or retail sector.
- Proven negotiation skills and experience managing vendor relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: Rs 200,000 per month
- Work Location: Primarily on the road, with travel required as part of the role.
