Key Responsibilities
The IT Support Executive will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various network-related hardware and software components to maintain optimal system performance. Managing firewall installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance is a key part of the role, ensuring the company’s network remains secure and resilient against threats.

Providing timely technical support to staff is essential, resolving computer and network issues efficiently to minimize downtime. The candidate will diagnose and address problems related to Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and internet connectivity, ensuring uninterrupted communication and data flow.

Security is a top priority; therefore, the IT Support Executive will implement and maintain security protocols to protect systems from viruses and other cyber threats. Regular installation and updates of company software and hardware will be required to keep the IT environment current and effective.

A solid understanding of manageable network switches and routing concepts is necessary to support network infrastructure. The role also involves monitoring and reporting on costs related to IT equipment replacement or upgrades, helping the company manage its technology budget effectively.

Disaster recovery and backup management processes must be overseen to safeguard critical company data, ensuring business continuity in case of system failures. Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold at least a 3-year Diploma in Information Technology or a related discipline. A strong grasp of routing concepts and network management is essential. Experience with firewall configuration and network troubleshooting is required to handle the technical demands of the role effectively.

The ability to manage disaster recovery and backup solutions is crucial, ensuring data integrity and availability. Proficiency in virtualization management is also necessary to support the company’s evolving IT infrastructure.
