Upwork Specialist / Business Development Executive (Night Shift)

HashTech Ltd is seeking a talented Upwork Expert and Business Development Executive to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position focuses on driving company growth by managing and expanding our online client base, particularly through the Upwork platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing projects, crafting compelling proposals, and building lasting client relationships. This role demands a proactive communicator who can generate leads, engage clients professionally, and collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered successfully.

Key Responsibilities

As an Upwork Expert, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing HashTech’s Upwork profile. This includes identifying relevant job opportunities in graphic designing, animation, and branding, and writing well-structured, persuasive proposals tailored to client needs. Maintaining professional and timely communication with clients is essential to address inquiries and convert leads into long-term partnerships.

In your capacity as a Business Development Executive, you will generate new business leads through multiple channels such as LinkedIn, freelance platforms, and cold outreach campaigns. You will assess client requirements thoroughly and recommend appropriate services that align with their goals. Developing and implementing business strategies to foster company growth will be a key part of your role. Additionally, you will coordinate with our design and animation teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction. Regular reporting is also required; you will prepare weekly progress reports highlighting lead generation, ongoing projects, and closed deals.

Required Qualifications

Candidates must have 1-2 years of hands-on experience working on Upwork, demonstrating success in securing projects and managing client relationships. Fluency in English—both written and verbal—is essential for effective communication. Strong skills in writing professional proposals and emails are critical, along with confidence in negotiation and consistent follow-up practices. This role requires availability to work the night shift from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, which is mandatory.
