Job Summary
We are looking for a proficient CCTV Technician with a minimum of two years of relevant experience to join our team based in Wah. The successful candidate will possess a solid background in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of video surveillance systems, including IP cameras and associated equipment. This role demands hands-on experience with both network hardware and software, along with the capability to provide technical support while ensuring the security and integrity of data and network systems. This is a full-time, on-site position offering a competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities
The CCTV Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and replacing CCTV systems such as IP cameras, POE switches, Network Video Recorders (NVRs), and other video surveillance devices. Additionally, the role involves installing and configuring computer hardware, software, networks, printers, scanners, and other peripherals to support company operations.

Managing the procurement, repair, and replacement of IT equipment will be a key part of the job, alongside maintaining accurate records of IT assets and inventory. Providing technical support to company staff to resolve hardware and software issues promptly is essential.

The technician will also ensure the security of data, manage network access controls, and maintain backup systems to safeguard company information. Setting up new networks and maintaining existing network infrastructure is required to ensure smooth and secure connectivity. Troubleshooting network hardware and software problems efficiently will be a critical function to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have at least two years of relevant experience in CCTV installation and IT support. A Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.

Proven expertise in video surveillance systems and network setup is essential. Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues are necessary to excel in this role. The ability to work full-time on-site in Wah is mandatory.
