Job Summary
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations to ensure its fiscal health and adherence to regulatory standards. This position requires managing all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audits, tax compliance, and strategic planning. The CFO will collaborate closely with the CEO and executive team to drive profitability, optimize resource allocation, and support sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
The CFO will lead and manage the entire finance and accounting function within the organization. This includes developing and executing financial and tax strategies that align with the company’s overall business objectives. The role involves overseeing capital requests and spearheading the budgeting process to ensure efficient use of resources.
Preparing detailed financial reports, key performance indicators (KPIs), and forecasts is essential to facilitate informed decision-making at the executive level. The CFO must ensure full compliance with applicable tax laws and financial reporting standards, maintaining transparency and accuracy in all financial disclosures.
Leading both internal and external audit processes is a vital part of the role to uphold the integrity of financial data. The CFO will also formulate and implement strategies aimed at improving profitability and cost efficiency across the organization.
Providing expert guidance on long-term financial planning and business initiatives is expected, along with establishing and maintaining strong internal controls and financial processes to protect company assets and mitigate risks.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, which is mandatory for this role. A minimum of 10 years of experience in senior financial management positions is required, demonstrating a proven track record in strategic financial planning and analysis.
Strong leadership skills are essential, along with excellent analytical abilities and sound decision-making capabilities. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of corporate finance, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and supporting business objectives effectively.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with ERP systems and financial software is highly desirable, as it will enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based at DHA Phase 2.
