Procurement Officer

Job Summary
We are looking for a committed procurement professional with a minimum of two years’ experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing both market and credit purchases, conducting thorough rate comparisons, and supporting vendor development initiatives. This role demands strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to foster effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for efficient data management and reporting. This is a full-time position offering a competitive monthly salary of Rs 60,000.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute market purchase activities by sourcing materials and services while performing detailed rate comparisons to ensure cost efficiency.
- Handle credit purchase processes, ensuring timely procurement and conducting rate comparisons to optimize spending.
- Identify and develop new vendor relationships, as well as maintain consistent follow-ups with existing suppliers to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
- Collaborate closely with various internal departments to coordinate procurement requirements and promptly address any procurement-related issues.
- Utilize Excel extensively for data analysis, report generation, and maintaining accurate procurement records.
- Apply strong communication and negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and build lasting supplier partnerships.
- Analyze procurement data to support decision-making and improve purchasing strategies.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- At least two years of procurement experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data handling and reporting.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills to effectively manage supplier relationships and internal coordination.
