Account Receivable Officer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer (Receivable) to join our Finance team in Lahore. This entry-level role is perfect for fresh graduates or candidates with up to one year of relevant experience who are eager to build their expertise in receivables management within a corporate finance environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable hands-on experience in invoicing, payment collection, reconciliation, and financial reporting while working closely with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities
The Account Officer will be responsible for preparing and issuing customer invoices promptly to ensure timely billing. Following up with clients to facilitate payment collection and minimize outstanding receivables is a critical part of the role. Maintaining accurate accounts receivable records and performing regular reconciliations will ensure financial data integrity.

Additionally, the candidate will assist with monthly closing activities and support the financial reporting process. Coordination with sales and customer service teams is essential to efficiently resolve any billing queries. The role also requires precise data entry and proper filing of all related financial documents to maintain organized records.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Business Administration (BBA), Accounting & Finance (BS), or an equivalent qualification. This position is open to fresh graduates or individuals with up to one year of relevant experience in accounts receivable or finance.

A basic understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and reconciliation, is necessary. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are important to manage financial data accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
While not mandatory, familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems will be considered an advantage. This role offers a full-time, in-person position based in Lahore, with a competitive monthly salary of up to Rs45,000.
