You will also prepare critical documentation, including material specifications, schedules, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs), ensuring accuracy and completeness. Staying updated on local building regulations, construction materials, and methods is important to maintain compliance and quality standards.
Active participation in internal design discussions and client review meetings will allow you to contribute ideas and gain insight into project decision-making processes. This collaborative approach will help you develop your communication skills and professional confidence.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution. While professional experience is limited to 0-6 months, proficiency in essential design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is required. A strong design sensibility paired with meticulous attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset are necessary to work well within a team environment. You should be comfortable working under supervision while managing multiple tasks efficiently and meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Familiarity with additional software tools like Revit, Lumion, or Enscape will be considered a strong advantage, enhancing your ability to contribute to various stages of the design process.
