We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team in Pakistan. This role will focus on the successful execution of onshore energy projects and support the optimization of energy systems, playing a vital part in our mission to advance renewable energy infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
The Site Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the onshore project schedule using Primavera P6, ensuring it aligns with offshore data and contractual requirements. You will integrate the Master Schedule with the Last Planner System to effectively coordinate project activities across disciplines. Supporting the site management team in planning and executing project tasks is a key function of this role.
You will act as a crucial liaison between various disciplines to develop and adjust the site time schedule as project needs evolve. Regular monitoring and updating of site work progress are essential, including the preparation of detailed progress reports and schedule forecasts. Evaluating actual site progress to identify potential risks and recommending cost-effective, economical working procedures will be part of your daily responsibilities.
Active participation in site progress and coordination meetings is expected to ensure smooth project execution. Throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining high standards of reporting and communication will be critical to success.
Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (BE/BSc) and bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the energy or construction sectors. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and project scheduling techniques is essential.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines are required. A solid understanding of workplace safety standards, along with awareness of quality, health, safety, and environment (QHSE) practices, is necessary.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong management and negotiation skills, with a focus on cost awareness and operational effectiveness. Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities are critical, as is competency in using workplace ICT equipment and applications. Experience in presentation skills and team-building will be advantageous.
