IT/Networking Manager

Job Summary
Aptech Learning, a renowned global career education institute, is seeking a skilled and proactive IT/Networking Manager to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of its IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background in networking, systems administration, and IT support, paired with a strategic mindset to drive operational efficiency. This hands-on leadership role involves managing the IT team and ensuring the seamless operation of all technical systems within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
The IT/Networking Manager will be responsible for installing, controlling, and monitoring servers to guarantee optimal performance. You will design and update the network infrastructure to align with the organization’s evolving needs. Managing system virtualization and overseeing all terminal systems will be a critical part of your duties.

Leading the IT team is essential, including task delegation and ensuring accountability. You will handle CISCO network operations such as switch configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and backups. Developing terminal systems with features like backup, load balancing, failover, and fault tolerance will also fall under your purview.

Prompt troubleshooting of hardware and software issues is necessary to minimize downtime and maintain business continuity. You will oversee domain management and firewall operations to ensure network security. Additionally, managing CCTV systems, file servers, and responding to technical inquiries across the center will be part of your daily activities.

Collaboration with the team on IT inventory management and providing ongoing technical guidance are important to keep the department aligned with the latest technology trends. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring quick resolution of technical problems to support uninterrupted business operations.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in IT and network administration is required.

Strong knowledge of networking protocols, firewalls, routers, switches, and LAN/WAN technologies is essential. Experience with server administration on both Windows and Linux platforms is expected. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with backup solutions, is highly desirable.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are a must, along with strong communication abilities. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and educational software will be considered an advantage.

This is a full-time, on-site position with working hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The role offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs. 70,000 to Rs. 80,000.
