AC Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AC Supervisor with 8 to 10 years of proven expertise in a reputable textile company to lead the maintenance and efficient operation of air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical maintenance background, particularly with AC units, chillers, water dispensers, and refrigerators. This hands-on supervisory role involves managing the AC department, ensuring timely preventive maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. The supervisor will report directly to the Head of Electrical Department and oversee a team to guarantee optimal performance of all cooling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
The AC Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all air conditioning units, including split ACs, window ACs, and chillers. A critical part of the role is to maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and regularly update the report register to ensure transparency and accountability. Daily preventive maintenance must be conducted on ACs, chillers, water dispensers, and refrigerators to avoid any operational interruptions.

Managing the AC department effectively is essential, which includes assigning tasks and supervising the work of technicians and support staff. The supervisor will provide daily progress and status reports to the Head of Electrical Department, ensuring clear communication and timely updates. Leveraging prior supervisory experience in the AC department, the candidate will lead the team to comply with safety and operational standards, fostering a productive and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have completed Matriculation or an equivalent educational qualification. A Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Electrical or a related field is required. The role demands 8 to 10 years of proven experience in a similar supervisory position within the textile industry. Strong technical skills in repairing and maintaining various types of air conditioning systems and chillers are essential.

Effective communication skills are necessary to coordinate with team members and report progress to senior management. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage a team and handle multiple maintenance tasks efficiently.
